Un nuovo video teardown di Nintendo Switch OLED è stato condiviso online poche ore fa, confermando alcuni dettagli molto interessanti sul dock. Il nuovo video, pubblicato da Nintendo Prime, conferma che il nuovo dock venduto insieme al Nintendo Switch OLED è in grado di emettere 4K, 60 FPS, almeno sulla carta, in quanto la porta HDMI è di tipo HDMI 2.0, necessaria per l’uscita a risoluzione 4K.
Mentre questo potrebbe non significare molto di per sé, in quanto potrebbe essere Nintendo che semplicemente ha deciso di aggiornare la porta HDMI ad uno standard più recente, la nuova console verrà anche rilasciata con un cavo HDMI che è in grado di gestire 4K, 60FPS con HDR, alludendo al fatto che la società giapponese potrebbe aver reso il dock future-proof per un altro modello di Switch capace di gestire il 4K.
Le voci di un nuovo Nintendo Switch con supporto alla risoluzione 4K stanno circolando online da molto tempo. La scorsa settimana, Bloomberg ha riferito che almeno 11 diverse aziende hanno un kit di sviluppo per questa presunta console, e Nintendo stessa ha rilasciato una dichiarazione per negare questa voce, che ha solo aggiunto benzina sul fuoco, considerando che la società giapponese raramente commenta i rumor.
