Ecco la classifica di giochi e console più venduti in Giappone nel 2025

Famitsu ha pubblicato la classifica ufficiale dei giochi e delle console più venduti in Giappone nel 2025, basata sui dati raccolti tra il 30 dicembre 2024 e il 28 dicembre 2025. Il report offre uno spaccato molto chiaro delle preferenze del pubblico giapponese. Nintendo emerge come protagonista assoluta, sia per titoli venduti sia per hardware. I numeri confermano tendenze già visibili negli anni precedenti, ma con alcune novità significative. In particolare, il debutto di Switch 2 ha avuto un impatto enorme sul mercato.

Partendo dai videogiochi, il titolo più venduto del 2025 è Mario Kart World per Nintendo Switch 2, con oltre 2,2 milioni di copie vendute solo nel mercato retail giapponese. Subito dietro troviamo Leggende Pokémon Z-A, che compare due volte in classifica: prima nella versione Switch e poi nella Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, segno di una forte strategia cross-gen. Nella top ten spiccano anche Monster Hunter Wilds su PS5, Super Mario Party Jamboree, Donkey Kong Bananza, Kirby Air Riders e l’intramontabile Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Un dato particolarmente rilevante per comprendere il mercato è che 80 titoli su 100 della classifica sono usciti su Nintendo Switch o Nintendo Switch 2. Questo indica una concentrazione quasi totale del consumo videoludico su piattaforme Nintendo. Accanto alle nuove uscite, resistono giochi storici come Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Minecraft e Splatoon 3, che continuano ad accumulare vendite a distanza di anni.
