All’inizio dell’E3 del 2016, Microsoft ha annunciato ufficialmente l’arrivo sul mercato di Xbox Play Anywhere, un servizio gratuito per un numero selezionato di giochi, che permette agli utenti di poter acquistare una singola copia digitale del titolo di turno, per poi poterla utilizzare in modo totalmente gratuito nell’intero ecosistema Xbox, quindi su console Xbox One, Series X e Series S, oppure su PC.
